The objectives of the International Conferences on WIM - ICWIM - are to:

  • provide an international forum for WIM technologies, WIM standards, research, policy and applications,
  • present the latest research works and developments on WIM and facilitate the exchanges and cooperation between researchers and users,
  • facilitate the meeting of manufacturers and users in an exhibition of WIM systems, sensors and related technologies,
  • review new developments on WIM.

The scientific and technical organisation and paper reviews are carried out by the International Scientific Committee on WIM, appointed by the ISWIM. Proceedings are published, on electronic support and/or printed. For each conference, a National organisation is appointed by the ISWIM to host the conference.
